Start a Restoration

Let’s talk about your car.

Tell Beach Boy what you have and what you would like done. Every restoration starts with a straightforward conversation — no obligation.

What happens next

How a restoration gets started.

  1. 01

    Consultation

We talk through the car, what you want from it and the budget you have in mind — by phone, by email, or here at the shop.

  2. 02

    Assessment

The car comes in for a close inspection. You get an honest written scope and estimate before any work is agreed.

  3. 03

    Restoration

The work begins — body, mechanical, paint and trim — documented as it goes, with updates and photographs along the way.

  4. 04

    Delivery

The finished car is sorted, road-tested and detailed before it is handed back — running and looking the way it should.

Good to know

Questions owners ask first.

Do you take on smaller jobs, or only full restorations?

Both. Beach Boy handles complete frame-off restorations as well as standalone work — an engine rebuild, a respray, a fresh interior. Tell us what the car needs.

How long does a restoration take?

It depends on the car and the scope. A focused job can be a matter of weeks; a full ground-up build is a longer commitment. You get a realistic timeline after the assessment.

Can you work to a budget?

Yes. Many restorations are done in planned stages, so the cost is spread out over time. We will tell you honestly what is worth doing now and what can wait.

My car does not run. Can you still take it?

Of course — most restoration projects arrive exactly that way. A non-running car can be trailered in; ask us and we will help you sort it.

Do you only work on one make of car?

No. Over the years the shop has worked across American, British, European and Japanese classics. If it is a car worth keeping, it is worth a conversation.
